Alina Sinivaara's paintings are inspired by football and ice hockey.
For several years, the artist has been using her works to explore these sports, which are embedded in the masculine world. The idea came from nearby: her own family's hobbies. On the other hand, the artist has stated that such sports are 'foreign territory' for her. In her paintings, Sinivaara uses a wide range of colours and dynamic brush strokes to explore the world of football and ice hockey. Her works use shapes, rhythm and colour to capture the atmosphere of games on canvas.
