Helene Schjerfbeck's Life and Art
Raseborgs museum, Raasepori
- 27.4.2012–31.12.2030
The rationale for this permanent exhibition comes from Schjerfbeck's time in Ekenäs. For Helene, the town and its surroundings were meaningful in many respects. The longest single period in which she lived here was between 1925 and 1941, but she painted in the area on numerous other occasions. Furthermore, her family had roots here on both her father's and mother's side.
