Guided tour in Swedish at Pentala Archipelago Museum on Saturdays: Gurlis hus at 13:30 PM

On this guided tour in Swedish you will be introduced to the long life of Gurli Nyholm and her fascinating home. A fisherman’s widow, Gurli remained on Pentala Island as its last resident. Her personal items have now been brought back to their original locations in the house. A guided tour is the only way to visit Gurli’s house.

Gurli’s house is the heart of the Pentala Archipelago Museum. The guided tour of the home museum takes a dive into the realities of life in the archipelago and introduces you to the fisherman Arvid Nyholm and his wife Gurli in Swedish. Their marriage lasted for decades and after Arvid’s death, Gurli remained on Pentala Island as its last year-round resident. Her personal items have now been brought back to their original locations in the house. Guided tour in English to Gurli’s House will be held on Sundays 23.6, 7.7, 21.7, 4.8, 18.8 at 13:30 PM.

The visit to Gurli’s house is possible only in presence of a guide on pre-announced dates. Length around 30 minutes. The maximum capacity of each tour is 12 persons.

Tickets: EUR 7 for adults, EUR 5 for persons entitled to a discount. Free entry for persons under 18 years of age and for Museum Card holders. Claim a ticket at the museum’s information desk before the tour begins.

The maximum amount of people on each tour is 12 persons, filled in the order of registration. You can make a reservation for a tour on the same day by calling us, not with messages (max. 4 participants per reservation call): Pentala Archipelago Museum, +358 43 8252 641 (10 am–3 pm).
