Conducting Finland 1917-2017

The special exhibition “Conducting Finland” – conductors as musical messengers 1917-2017 focuses on orchestral conductors who together with their orchestras have conveyed Finnish music to listeners in Finland as well as abroad.

The exhibition presents Finnish conductors from Robert Kajanus to the new names of today. Apart from images and sound material the exhibition also contains personal items. In connection with the exhibition it is possible to practice conducting or take a guided tour.

The exhibition is open 1.2.2017-7.1.2018
